Pool
renovations.

Pool resurfacing, replastering and full remodels across Central Texas. We evaluate what you have and quote only what needs touching — no bundled packages, no unnecessary work.

Our approach

Fix what's broken. Leave the rest.

Most renovation bids come back as a package — replaster, retile, and new equipment whether you need all three or not. We don't work that way.

We come out, assess your pool honestly, and quote exactly what needs doing. If your equipment is fine, we say so. If the shell has one problem area and not six, we fix the one. You decide what to address and when.

What we renovate

Surface to equipment.

01

Replaster & resurfacing

The most common renovation, and the one people usually mean by pool resurfacing. Plaster typically lasts 10–15 years. We chip out the old surface, prep the shell, and apply new plaster — white, quartz, or pebble. Your pool looks and feels brand new.

02

Retile

Waterline tile takes a beating from chemicals and calcium buildup. We remove and reset tile, or replace it entirely. Same-day access to hundreds of ceramic, glass, and stone options.

03

Equipment replacement

Pumps, filters, heaters, automation, and salt systems all wear out. We assess what you have, tell you what needs replacing — nothing more — and install equipment that lasts.

04

Deck & coping

Cracked concrete, sunken sections, faded travertine. We repair or replace pool decking and coping to bring the entire space back together visually and structurally.

05

Structural repair

Cracks in the shell, settling, bond beam damage. We evaluate the severity, explain what we find, and quote only the repair — not a rebuild.

06

Add-on upgrades

Tanning ledge, spa, LED lighting, automation, water features. If your pool was built without these and you want them now, a renovation is the right time to add them.

Know the signs

When it's time to call us.

Rough or staining surface

Plaster past its life feels like sandpaper and holds algae stains that won't brush out.

Tile falling or calcium-scaled

Loose waterline tile or heavy white calcium lines are cosmetic now but structural later.

Rising energy bills

Single-speed pumps and old heaters burn money. Modern equipment pays for itself.

Cracked or sunken decking

Tripping hazards and water intrusion under the deck need attention before they worsen.

Equipment over 10 years old

Filters, pumps, and heaters have a lifespan. Older equipment runs harder and costs more.

Visible shell cracks

Hairline cracks are common; structural cracks mean water loss. Know the difference.

Renovation process

Seven steps. No surprises.

01
Assessment

We walk the pool with you and document everything: surface condition, equipment age, decking, tile, and structure. You get an honest read, not a upsell checklist.

02
Written quote

Itemized line-by-line. You see exactly what we're fixing and what it costs. No bundled packages that hide markup.

03
Drain & demo

We drain the pool and remove old plaster, tile, or equipment as scoped. Debris hauled the same day.

04
Surface prep

Shell is acid-washed or bond-coated depending on the new finish. Proper prep is what makes the new plaster last.

05
Plaster & tile

New plaster applied and waterline tile set. For equipment, we stage delivery so everything arrives together.

06
Equipment

New pump, filter, heater, or automation installed and wired. We test everything before filling.

07
Fill & startup

Pool filled, water chemistry balanced, equipment commissioned. We walk you through the new system and leave with everything running.

Where we renovate

Renovations, by town.

Pools built in the nineties and two-thousands across Central Texas are coming due for plaster, tile and equipment at roughly the same time. If yours is one of them, start with the page for your town — the ground, the permits and the HOA review all differ by jurisdiction.

Run your hand along the wall underwater. If it feels rough or gritty, the plaster is etching — it's time. Persistent staining that doesn't respond to brushing is another sign. Most plaster lasts 10–15 years depending on water chemistry.

A replaster-only job takes 5–7 days from drain to refill. Add tile and it's 7–10 days. Full equipment + surface renovations run 2–3 weeks. We give you a written schedule before we start.

Replaster and structural repair require a full drain. Tile work and most equipment replacements can often be done at water level or with a partial drain. We'll tell you upfront what's needed.

Yes. We work on pools regardless of who built them. The assessment tells us what we're working with and we go from there.

Almost always renovation. Demo and rebuild costs 3–5× more and takes twice as long. Unless the shell is fundamentally compromised — which is rare — we can make an older pool perform like new.

Mostly vocabulary. Resurfacing and replastering are the same job — chipping out the old interior finish and applying new plaster, quartz or pebble. Remodeling usually means that plus tile, coping, decking or equipment. We quote whichever pieces you actually need, itemized.

The same Central Texas radius we build in — Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville, Hutto, Lago Vista, Jonestown, Marble Falls, Granite Shoals and Bertram. Older pools in the established neighborhoods are a good share of our renovation work.

Replaster alone runs $8k–$18k depending on size and finish. Full renovation with equipment, tile, and decking typically lands between $25k–$60k. We quote after one site visit.
