Service

Custom
add-ons.

Waterfalls, spas, tanning ledges, lighting, automation, outdoor kitchens. Anything that makes the pool — and the yard around it — yours.

What we add

Make it completely yours.

A pool is a platform. The waterfall, the spa, the outdoor kitchen, the lighting scene at 9pm — those are what make it a backyard you actually live in.

We do add-ons at new build, alongside a renovation, or as a standalone project. It's almost always cheaper to include them during construction — but if you're ready now, we can make most features work without touching the existing pool.

What we build

Eight ways to upgrade.

01

Waterfalls & grottos

Natural rock waterfalls, sheer descents, and cavern grottos. We build the rock structure on-site, not from a mold. Every one is different.

02

Attached spas

Heated spillover spa connected to the pool with shared equipment. Jets, lighting, and temperature controlled independently from the pool.

03

Tanning ledges

A shallow entry shelf — 6 to 9 inches deep — designed for lounge chairs and small children. Can be added to most existing pools with a partial renovation.

04

LED lighting

Color-changing LED pool lights, deck lighting, and landscape integration. Controlled from your phone. We retrofit existing niches or add new ones.

05

Automation & controls

Pentair and Jandy automation systems let you run your pool, spa, lights, and features from a single app. We install, configure, and walk you through it.

06

Outdoor kitchens

Built-in grills, countertops, refrigerators, and storage. We coordinate with your existing landscape or design around a new pool build.

07

Fire features

Fire bowls, fire-and-water walls, and gas torches positioned around the pool perimeter. We run the gas line and integrate with your automation.

08

Pool enclosures & pergolas

Shade structures, screened enclosures, and pergolas that extend the season and give the outdoor space a finished look.

Timing

When to add on.

At new build

Always cheaper to include add-ons during construction. One mobilization, shared excavation, no retrofit cost.

During renovation

If you're already draining and resurfacing, it's the right time to add a tanning ledge, new lighting, or automation.

Standalone project

Most add-ons can be done without touching the pool. Waterfalls, spas, outdoor kitchens, and automation can all be added independently.

Our process

Six steps. No surprises.

01
Scope conversation

We start with what you actually want — not a catalog of options. Tell us how you use the space and what's missing from it.

02
Design & quote

We sketch the placement, confirm utility locations, and give you an itemized written quote. No surprises on delivery day.

03
Permit if needed

Spas, gas lines, and electrical features require permits. We pull them — you don't talk to the city.

04
Installation

Our crew handles structural work, plumbing, electrical, and finish. We coordinate any required inspections inline.

05
Integration & test

New features wired into existing automation or a new control system. Everything tested before we leave.

06
Walkthrough

We show you how to run every new feature — lighting scenes, spa temperature, waterfall controls — and leave documentation.

FAQ

add-ons.

More questions? Text us at (512) 999-2460.

Usually yes. We evaluate your existing equipment to see if it can handle the load. In most cases we'll add a dedicated heater and pump for the spa. The connection to the pool is plumbed during the build.

A simple sheer descent starts around $3k–$6k. A full rock grotto with cavern and multiple falls runs $15k–$40k depending on size and complexity. We quote after seeing the space.

We primarily install Pentair IntelliCenter and Jandy iAqualink — both have solid apps and long support histories. We'll recommend based on what equipment you already have.

Yes — a tanning ledge requires structural work on the pool shell, so a full drain is necessary. We typically combine it with a replaster so you're only down once.

Absolutely. Outdoor kitchens are standalone projects. We handle the gas line, electrical, and structure. Lead time is usually 3–5 weeks from signed contract.

Fall and winter are our best availability windows and typically come with shorter lead times. Most add-ons can be done year-round in Central Texas.
